When St. Aidan’s asked us to design a big front
lawn sign to update their image we hesitated.
We thought rather than put an inconsistent LED
concrete and plastic monolith on the front of
the 100 year old building, wouldn’t it be better
to spread a series of signs around the property
to send a gentler more welcoming message?
The resulting wooden signage system
addresses accessibility and inclusion without
diminishing the heritage property.
